Default electric water pump alternative

I was trying to save some money and an electric aftermarket pump is just not in the budget. So i took an old small block water pump pulley mount, drilled it out bigger and welded it to my LS pump. Then i mounted my old external motor water pump drive kit to iT, wired it up and tested it out. I dont know how good it works because my engine isnt done yet but it seems like itll work just fine. And the best part is i did it all with stuff i had laying around!!

Buddy and I were discussing today a inline pump setup running to a gutted stock pump.

Definitely interested in seeing a cheaper alternative to the overpriced Mezeire

If I buy an L8T bare block can I basically just swap all my L87 stuff over to it? Well besides the AFM which L8T don't have.

If I were doing it over I would just use a standalone/remote type ewp.

The meizer is great for oe type applications....but that same functionality can be had with a remote type ewp

Look up Davis Craig ewp's.

I have to agree. I would rather do a log manifold off of the motor with a remote pump.
