Default Oil Leak Help!!

I need some help lol, I bought an 02 ws6 that hadn't been started in 3 years or so, I changed the oil flushed, the fuel, etc... and turned it on for maybe a good 40 - 45 minutes. The next day I notice that there is a big puddle of liquid under the engine bay. I degrease the engine bay and cover everything up with baby powder, and than turn the engine on for 10 minutes. There is a major leak coming from the top of where the transmision and engine meet each other. What stumps me is that there was oil on the entire lower front half of the engine around where the crank seal is/rite under the water pump, yet I can't seem to find any leaks around that area. Maybe if I take it for a drive or rev it up it would be different? Is it possible for the leak in the rear to crawl all the way up to the crank shaft? I have included some pictures of the leaking area, any idea on where it is leaking from/ what to do next? I hope its not the rear seal lol

Could be the oil sending unit, which is on the top rear of the motor. The cam position sensor is there as well. I know on the Vette's the oil sending unit is problematic. Can you get in there with a mirror or get your hands on a borescope?

Not quire sure I follow what is going on, is the leak in the front or the rear of the motor?

Sounds like the oil sending unit.

If you drove it, the wind turbulence could pull oil towards the front and blow it around. Just a thought. But it sounds like the oil pressure sender to me.

that makes sense, I pulled the intake off and like you guys said it was gummed up all around the oil pressure sender, when I pulled the intake off thou some tiny mud ***** that look like small raisins, maybe mouse poo, and baby powder slipped into the intake vents. Do you guys think I have to pull my heads off now? or how would I go about cleaning up my big mess? Thanks!!

I didnt mention it because i figured you had done this before. Always blow off the top of the intake amd head area to clean it up pretty good before you pull the intake.

As long as there were no rocks or anything big it should be fine
I would try to get all you can cleaned out of the runners.

It really wouldn't hurt anything. I would also try to get into the intake ports and suck out anything sitting on top of a closed valve.

Could of just had a leak(valve cover, front main, etc), somebody fixed it and never cleaned up the mess.
