Figured I'd post these results seeing they are really surprising. I've had the K&N FIPK on my 00 SS since I bought it back in 2011. I've been told by multiple people that it isn't the best set up for the Camaro or the Firebird. This winter I sold it and put on an FTP 104mm lid with the CHRS1313 non A/C ram air. That thing hands down works and you can hear it SUCK lol. It should gain me another .1-.3 and 1-3 MPH in the 1/4. Can't wait to test it out next month. Driving around the throttle response is much better and you feel a noticeable difference up top. Pulls HARD! I'm sure results will very from car to car but with the cam and FAST 92/92 I have it gained a nice amount.
Below are 2 run files on the same dyno. The higher of the 2 is the LID and chrs1313.

What was involved in making the conversion between the FIPK and the lid?
Lower box.
What about the breather tube? It looks like the FIPK cut one of the breather tubes to make it work.

Edit: To make the conversion work I purchased the factory air box off Ebay for 65$. It came with the factory lid and lower air box/radiator support. Next I ordered a lid and ram air set up. Made sure the air box and ram air were sealed up properly. Sealing it up is key for it to function.
