Default LS1 347 Heads and Intake Questions

Hi guys, I have 99 z28 M6, mods are : 347 rotating assembly (Callies Compstar H beams, and Mahle forged pistons), poly motor mounts, lid, LTs, ORY, cutout, TSP 228r (.588/.588) @112, 42# injectors, hotwire kit, tuned by Lashway.

I have a buddy of mine that has a z06 that he has built from the block up. He kept onto his 243 heads with upgraded springs (car had a cam when he took heads off) also has his LS6 intake. He moved to a FAST setup.

Now before I would install the heads I would get them worked on. But my question is this, should I sell the intake and take that money and buy a 92 or 102, which would require new fuel rails, right? Anything else I'm missing, besides a TB.

I'll be buying the intake and heads for about 600.

My goal is to have an 11 sec car N/A, car is daily driven until I find a more suitable daily. 250 shot in the future.

Thanks!

Car currently make 387HP/377TQ

Haven't been there on a day for times yet. Mid 12's would be my guess though.
Still learning to launch the car.

You may already have a high 11 sec car!! Learn how to launch that car or even take some suspension work into consideration......
When you posted this thread another cat came to my mind...... I'll share the link/thread. Car only have 20 more rwhp more or so than yours.

I have been looking into suspension more and more. Car is currently on orange decarbons and stock springs as well. Has the 'classic' 4x4 stance lol

Car does however have a random adjustable torque arm.

LOL!! No need in adding power if the car can't manage it. I would focus on getting the power you already have now to the ground....
tires, shocks, springs, sway bars, etc... plays a BIG role to getting the car to its full max potential.

BMR springs, HD bilsteins, panhard bar, I know UMI makes some good stuff but suspension is new to me, not sure how everything pieces together, or what to look for.
