you want loud, just get a cutout. Make sure to get an electric one though.

Are the true duals too loud to run legally on the street?

Are there mufflers that I could use to run true duals on the street?

if you exit in the rear of the vehicle instead of dumping them at the axle, it is not much louder than a catback, just a different tone. much smoother. I had mine exiting out the rear, but had to remove the rear section...dumps and im debating if i should put the tail pipes back on.

even without the rear exit (dump before the axle), true duals are not as loud as a cutout or even a LoudMouth. The difference is true duals give you a REAL muscle car sound (think 5.0 mustang).

I was stock plus loudmouth before I went to LT's with 3" duals dumped with bullets and no cats. I think the volume comparison b/t the two is close. A few people I know said it doesn't sound any louder now than with just the loudmouth. At WOT, however, I tend to believe the duals are louder, seems like they get louder and louder as you step on it vs the loudmouth with stock exhaust, but maybe I"m just crazy? They also sound better and better
