Default Super Victor map sensor location

Doing an intake swap to a super Victor... Have a vacuum port on passenger side of intake plenum.. can I just run a barb fitting with about an 8" hose length to the map sensor using a hose clamp to keep the hose on the map sensor?.. Will that give me a correct map reading?

What throttle body are you running? You can run to the barb fitting though shorter the hose the better IMO

So would it cause any issues if you ran it with 8-12" hose? Just curious.. that's how I have it now but it will be changed to be short

Do you have hp tuners or any scanner where you can log the map readings? If you do you could do a comparison to see of the longer hose make a difference.

Isn't there tiny vaccum ports on the throttle body? Would be under the throttle blades obviously.

Yea there are 2 small ones(1/8th" I believe) and one 1/4". I used one of the small ones for the vacuum for the hvac and the larger one for the catch can routing. Using the port on the side of the intake worked good for me. I also re routed the iac and tps sensor wires to come up from under the intake.

Yep your right.. as of right now I have my map going in to the side of intake with about an 8" line but will be cutting it to make it like yours...

I'm having issues with the SD tuning right now so( going lean as he'll when I get into PE for half a sec and then goes rich then I let out and it stays rich for like 10-15 secs) I'm kinda at a loss on that issue

Well then I would definetly use the port on the manifold. Super Vic on my car and haven't done manual brakes yet so guess I am going to use one of those little ports on the throttle body.

Drill a hole in your intake and stick it in the hole. Just like it was from GM.

Thats a great idea. Wonder if you could drill a hole under the plenum below where the throttle body sits and mount it under the intake so it looks super clean.
