Couple questions about using MSD 6010 with EFI
When using the 6010 with EFI, is there anything needed other than harness p/n 8886? As in - does that harness "automatically" take the timing control away from the PCM? If so - is the PCM "ok" with this?
In the boat sometimes the fuel quality changes based on where I am and what fuel is available - and I'd like the ability to change timing real time. I also already have the 6010 from when the boat was carbed - so the only extra cost is harness 8886.

Two more questions:
1) With the 8886 will the pink wire still be used for power...or does it power through the GM harness?
2) Do I leave the tach signal hooked to the GM PCM or the MSD harness?
