LQ9 build Questions I picked up a crate LQ9 with a LS6 cam on craigslist and am getting ready to build it and was wondering what you thought of my plan and what type of RWHP I could expect with a TH400 and a 12 bolt with Truetrac and 3.54 Gears. (Pure street car)
This is going in a el camino btw
Stock LQ9
LS3 Heads and Intake
231/236 or 229/236 Cam (still can't decide which)
CX Racing 92mm throttle body
Long Tubes
Standard or dual CAI (moved battery to rear)

It currently has mildly ported 317 heads and a carb intake but I have the LS3 heads and Intake lying around. My other option I was considering was doing a S475 Turbo and just slapping on a truck intake and keeping it stock but I feel that will require more Maintence and issues over the next few years plus extra downtime.
