Default Could I have an exhaust leak? Please help....

I had LT's installed 2 weeks ago, and today I noticed some black soot coming from only ONE of the header flanges. I used new GM steel header gaskets when I had the LT's installed. Is black soot a sign of an exhaust leak? If so, how can I fix this? Thanks...

Turn the car on and feel for hos exhaust gases around where the soot is. There may be a bad weld or the bolts might just need to be tightened.

There better not be a bad weld, that's why I spent the extra money on Kook's. I'll feel for exhaust gases and re-tighten the bolts, thanks.
