Tailpipes are only 2.5” on the 3.5” version as well? I’ve been mulling around building a 4” system but it’s going to cost me more than twice what this kit is.

I'll get some videos tomorrow possibly of the system.

It's much milder than my true duals. They are not anywhere near as deep at idle. But that's okay. They are much more pleasant to drive around!

And at WOT they still sound good.

I don't have an electric cutout installed, but I think that'll make this the perfect mild-to-wild exhaust and let it be loud and thump when wanted and more civilized when actually driving in traffic.

Anywhere, here's a few pics as I installed it an the Kooks ORY pipe today.

I did have a question for those who have installed this... my tips are recessed in a bit and seem to be angled crooked like the whole muffler needs to be rotated clockwise 15 degrees or so. Is that a problem with the way the I-Pipe and Y-Pipe are put together?

I tried to adjust it, and even moved the pipes toward the end of each junction to try and elongate. I don't know, maybe I just need to get under there and adjust it some more. But it fits over the axle fine without hitting and doesn't look like I have much room to pull the Y-Pipe to the edge of the header to elongate the system back.

But I might be able to clock the I-pipe over a little to maybe turn the muffler to be more square with the rear of the car. Wish the 2.5" tailpipes were a good 2" longer than they are so the tips are at least flush with the rear fascia. Right now, it's recessed in where you can't see the tips from the side.

What kind of electric cut out is recommended for this system? Since the actual cut out is already built in.

Where did you get it from? I see some for $300, seems steep for an electric cutout

I believe Summitt: I ordered it with the remote control option, and turn down as well: it was less than $300 for all of those pieces, as far as I can remember.

Default Drone and interior sound?

Hows the drone and interior sound level with the TSP catback as opposed to the Corsa?

I found it to be significantly quieter inside when I first installed it, but it has become a bit louder.

The Corsa that I had was loud.... but it may have had an exhaust leak at one of the bends which likely didn’t help the situation. (Looks like the guys who installed it dropped the pipe and didn’t fix the massive crimp it put into it... had I known that was a problem, I would have tried fixing the pipe and keeping the corsa)

I just picked one of these cat backs and has anyone fit this with the CME tips? I have Original tips and looks like the pass side pipe might be a little short.

So did TSP ever do anything to address the driver's side tailpipe sagging? That's why I went back to a dumped bullet. The 3.5" system is enticing even though I had the 3" on it before and liked the tone, just not the fit.

Is the I pipe 3 inches at the front or is it 2.75 and then increases to 3 inch? I'm considering getting this exhaust to mate to a TSP y pipe.

Correct. TSP exhaust is 2.75 at the beginning where it merges to the y pipe then expands to 3”

Looks like it is 3 inches. Tsp y pipe has a 2.75 inch reducer at the end of it.

I think at some point the internals of the muffler changed. Instead of the glasspack style raised perforations, the latest ones have a smooth perforated core. Or it could be that the 3.5 inch system uses a different muffler than the 3 inch system.

The smooth perforated core will have less backpressure by far.

Mine was smooth on the inside, had it on for a couple of years now and it's the best catback I've heard on a H/C car. I went with QTP 3 inch cutout as well. The only tiff I have with this exhaust is, on a Camaro, the tips look great but they slant downward a bit. From the rear of the car it looks perfect but from the side not so much. Going to take it to an exhaust shop at some point and see what they can do. I wouldnt hesitate to do buy it again.
