How do the speed engineering hold up to rusting or any other wear and tear. I know they are made in China if I'm correct so I'm sure the stainless and thickness of pipes are not the same as arh.

No worries there at all. It's not going to rust. Sean sells a good product.

So I went with the speed engineering headers and picked up a used fast 78. I went with the fast do to tony telling me what I can get out of it in porting in the future and not costing not much more than a ls6.

Yes I ordered the 1 7/8", I didn't see any reason not to. You never know next year could be a cam but sad to say clutch and steering rack stuff first.

So I got the headers and the fast 78 on and got the car tuned today. The car put down 373hp and 372tq and had a baseline of 330hp before the parts where installed.

On your 330hp old setup, was that tuned or untuned?

Congrats on the great results. You obviously made a solid choice.

And thank you for updating this discussion with your results. Many people forget to post results back in their original thread, and it makes searching more difficult. So thanks again for putting the effect with the cause.

Track numbers vs track numbers are more solid, dyno can be generous or stingey.

So I just added advanced induction ported 243 heads and there matching 230/238 cam. I also did a s60 with 4.10 gears. I don't have the print out of this run but the Car put out 427hp. I will post the run that I have of the car putting down 424 on a nice 91 degree day with my last numbers on the same chart. I Know will all the mods I have the fast 78 and factory ported tb is not helping as much as a 102 would. Let me know what you guys think, I hope everyone appreciates my updates.

I will be putting on a fast 102, nick Williams 102 and the fast toys 104 lid. I will post these numbers when I do the work
