Tony Mamo did mine. TB, LSXR, as well as head work. Can't go wrong with him.

Tony Mamo is on the Gen III Internal section several times a week. You haven't been watching.

Looks like you guys got it covered. OP, Brian Tooley also ports FAST intakes, but let me copy and paste exactly what he told me in regards to the possibility of him porting a FAST 102mm intake for me:

We charge $150-$200 depending on different factors, however without the heads I wouldn't even feel good about doing the job. Not only do we port match the intake exactly to the heads while the base is mocked up on the heads, we also put a scribe line on the intake face of the head to line the intake back up.

We could "take the bumps" out for $100, but I would not recommend taking an appreciable amount of material out of the intake without having the heads in hand. I've had some of these "port matched" intakes that people spent upwards of $500 on and I feel like they would have been better off with the intake just smoothed up since the intake ended up bigger than the heads in places.

Hmmmmm......so BT is pretty much saying a "mamofied" FAST isn't worth it unless Tony has the heads as well. He didn't mention Mamo by name, but who else charges $500 to port a FAST?

Nobody else that I know of...everyone else charges around $200-250. I'm not saying I agree w/ him but I asked the guy who ported mine (all I'm going to say is that he's a vendor on corvetteforums)why the higher charge and he basically told me your paying for the name. All I know is the guy has a hell of a following for some reason.

All I'll say is what Brian sent me opened up my eyes. Of all the guys on this forum, I trust Brian's opinion over everyone else. He has always been a really stand up guy to me and he has ALWAYS answered all my questions and given me an honest opinion. With him, it seems like he wants to provide you with knowledge/truth first and not try to sell or upsell you on something that he does not believe in. In my eyes, that's the definition of stand up guy. It makes complete sense though. In order to effectively port the intake, wouldn't you need the heads too in order to make sure they are an exact fit in terms of port size/shape. If I do decide to stay NA and go with a FAST 102/102 setup, I'll probably pull the heads and send them to him so that he can port match the intake to the heads. I don't think anyone will argue that Brian knows his stuff and does incredible work.

What heads are you putting the FAST on? I think whether or not to port heavily depends on how well the heads breath.

Yea it makes perfect sense, undecided on what heads I'm going w/ (was actually looking at the same ones you run) but I plan on going w/ BTR's Stage 4 Cam.

These heads need a much better flowing intake than the LS6 I have. I know flow numbers don't always tell the tale, but as you can see, the flow numbers really start to pick up around the 0.500 lift mark, and keep increasing all the way up till .0700. The stock LS6 intake doesn't flow well enough to compliment the heads.

While it sounds like it makes sense, I know Tony posted a while back that the small difference in port match didn't make a discernable difference in result. Doesn't Tony claim another 10-20rwhp or so with his ported FAST?

That may be. It's like anything else; there are always two or more philosophies on things. The more I've thought about this, the more I agree with Brian. I mean, without the heads, how can you effectively port the shape of the runners to match up to the heads.
