Alternator Replacement
Anyway I heard the parts store alternators for these cars suck but I also don't want to spend 400 bucks on a new alternator. Anyone have any suggestions?

And I've read that the little wire is super fragile... and I'm not exactly known for finesse
Most people upgrade to a Walbro pump. I'm running dual 450s. The most common is a single 255 for lower power guys. They also have a 340.
451 LSX block, mast intake, powerglide, Fab9, full suspension, etc etc etc...
I wouldn't be 100% on that. LOL
