Ls2 Vette waterpump and Fbody accessories
Ls2 Vette waterpump and Fbody accessories Does anyone on here run a ls2 vette water pump spaced out to fit with Fbody accessories? I need to know how far the pulley is with the spacers. My ls1 water pump pulley most forward part rubs my air filter attached to my turbo. I am thinking that since the shape of the pulleys are different that a ls2 vette water pump spaced out to Fbody specs will give me the clearance I need.

Give Bob at brute speed a call. The Aster bracket for the Procharger requires you to use the LS2 water pump. He should be able to give you the spacing for the pulley.

Bob says they move theirs out 11/32 of an inch.. So does anyone have a link or picture or a dimension of a stock LS2 vette pump? So I can just add the measurements together and get an idea if Bobs pump will work for my setup

Pull the pulley off the shaft approx 8mm, on mine it took a fair bit of effort, and a little persuasion with a hammer to get it moving.
But once it started moving it went ok.
Certainly frees up a lot of clearance at the front of the engine
