Small cats for visual inspection - where to buy?

Default Small cats for visual inspection - where to buy?
I have jethot l/t and catted y-pipe. the cats look like straight pipe and are noted to fail inside. Anybody know or use a decent small length cat for the street? I need to pass visual inspection this month.

Cut the stock cats in half long ways and then tac weld them to the outside of the y pipe.

Dynomax powercats are only 11" long and flow very well on acount of being metalicsubstrait.

....if all they are doing is an OBD2 test (plug in and read codes) then having something inside the cat won't do anything. Here they don't even do a visual so I'm not going to waste my time making it look like I have cats.

Here in NJ as well, we do have the 'plug in' method (for now at least, I assume as the cars get older they will do a sniffer again as well). It's basically 'luck of the draw' as to whether they'll do a visual or not, they did a visual on mine last time.
I'm now trying to find the outer cat covers or something similar to simply tack weld in place for when I do an ORY.

you are going to do an ORY?? really??and a flowmasters merge too? and how about a DSP performance TB?
