Converting LS6 pump to -AN fittings

Converting LS6 pump to -AN fittings Hi Everyone, I am in the process of converting my pump to -AN fittings and having some issues. To start off, my OEM res was damaged in shipping so I had one custom made to match it with male AN fittings on it. I followed some instructions I found here on cutting the male barb off the pump and installing a compression fitting (EAR-AT165010ERL) and an adapter (BRG-925120) and here is what I ended up with.
As you can see, there are a few problems with the end result.
#1 being that the pressure outlet is very close to the pulley, so close I don't think that I will be able to fit a hose end on to it.
#2 being that the low pressure fitting (the converted one) is way too close to the fitting on the reservoir. with the hose ends screwed on, they are almost touching
any suggestions on how to make this work?
