Default LSXR 102mm top shell LSX 90mm bottom?

I have an LSX 90mm intake manifold on the car now. Can I buy the top part of the LSXR 102mm, and turn my intake into a 102mm?

Might be a stupid question, but it looks like it would fit.

You wouldn't see any benefit anyway.

Dont know for sure on that particular combo, but I have a cathederal 102 and ls7 sitting on the livingroom floor and all of the parts interchange, the lower shells are very similar
except for of course the cathederal and square port part, but if you are using the same port design it could be possible. the top shells swap out perfect and the runners even swap out and bolt in. Now I cannot say if the lsx and lsxr are the same. I have not seen the lsx
stuff. Oh my cathederal 102 is a truck manifold and the ls7 is a car manifold and it all swaps out. So both questions asked are very possible.

Swapping a fast 102's parts to another FAST 102's parts is not the same as going from 90 to 92 to 102.

All three generations saw pretty big changes. A 92's runner design and 102's design are VERY different.

So you cannot take the screw out of the runners and pop them
Out individually like the 102? Get 102 runners and 102 top shell and call it a 102, I am aware the runners are different, that's what makes them different, but I don't know why you couldn't put different runners in it, but I have not seen inside anything other than 102's, are the runners not removable?
