Default Ported TB or CAI or Both?

Hi All, Looking for better throttle response and possibly a small power gain
for a 08 Vette,auto trans.,was dyno tuned.
What you be better,a CAI,or Ported TB? Is a TB spacer worthwhile?
Thanks,Merry Christmas

If it were me I would do both at the same time if you have the money. I honestly don't know a whole lot about the throttle body spacers in the LS motors as far as benefiting from the spacer I know the theories behind it with the air velocity into the intake but beyond that I am not sure if it would be too beneficial hopefully others will chime in on the tb spacers. Merry Christmas.

Wouldn't be worth the cost of a retune for just a CAI or TB. On an LS3 car, wouldn't bother with the TB for now. I'd do a CAI, headers, and then retune. Only do the TB if you upgrade to a FAST intake at the same time but those don't give you the boost they do on other motors. CAI, headers, retune...happiness.

Neither one has to do with throttle response. Power
gain would depend on how poorly designed the OE
throttle body and air cleaner path are to begin with -
4th gen F-bodies had some less than ideal qualities,
I gather the 'Vettes of that vintage had a lousy choke
in their inlet duct too. But what an '08 may or may
not have holding it back, I haven't looked. Have you?

Jimmyblue I really didn't look. I did score a new Airaid cai for a
great price from flebay. Still undecided about a ported tb
