oil pan differences

oil pan differences I am wondering what are the differences in oil pan sizes between a 99 LS truck oil pan and the 99-02 LS Camaro oil pan? I am putting a 99 LS in a 1954 chev 210 and some people are saying that you have to use a camero pan. is there a huge difference in dimensions or are some people splitting hairs?

First thing that seems weird to me is that the camaro is a 5.7........ Dumb question is the camaro 5.7 an LS based engine??? Seems like all the LS crap you hear about is 4.8 5.3 and 6.0 you never much about the 5.7
yes- LS1 = 5.7L The 4.8/5.3/6.0 are mostly iron block truck motors; 6.0 LS2 aluminum block can be found in 05-07 vette/05-06 GTO/trailblazer SS/05-06 SSR pickup. There are other variants, such as aluminum block 5.3 w/243 heads. Try a seach or read thru the stickies for some good info on all this.
