Default Where to go now

Have a 2000 ws6. It has SLP intake, borla cat back exhaust. That's bout it. Wondering what the next most sensible upgrade would be. Don't want to make it a drag car, but a real street sleeper is the best goal. Want somthing that is easy enough to cruise drive with. This is not a DD car. M6 also.

Most reasonable next step would be headers then man! Finish up the exhaust! Long tube headers...

As far as budget. I'd say I'd like to stay under $1000 for now.

Now there are long tubes that don't drop ground clearance correct? Have a driveway that won't allow for much clearance

Yes I believe so, but I'm not the expert on that. Perhaps someone else will chime in on that? Probably been covered before...

You wil loose ground clearance with headers. Id honestly do a 100-150hp shot of nitrous and a tune if you can swing it. Way more fun factor than any set of headers will offer. Later on add to the list or sell the nitrous kit for bigger mods as $$$ allows.

Let's sound like the resounding answer. I will have to get a first hand look at some to see what I can swing with ground clearance. And no offense but I'm not a fan of putting Nitrous in my car. Just not the direction of like to go.
Any thoughts on a new intake, or cam upgrade? Or are those best left for later down the road

If you want a "street sleeper" you want to forget the cam idea. What intake do you currently have?

Stock ls1. Was think bout maybe going to the 3. Just what some people have mentioned. Good flow on the 3. Or the obvious like the fast lx intakes. Opinions?

Gotcha. Only problem is that the LS3 intake won't fit the LS1. You're best off with one of the Fast intakes

Yep. The best Fast is a 102 but a 92 is great option as well

Just went shopping for one. Forgot to think bout changing fuel delivery with a bigger intake. Do you think the 92 can run with stock injectors or do they have to be upgraded

I would go with 1 7/8 longtubes and 4:10s if you can do the work yourself.
