if you have stainless headers....
...do you still need them to be coated? or are they fine just being plain stainless?

As long as they're the better 304 stainless steel, they're fine just as they are...coating them might help keep things slightly cooler and depending on your preference they may even look better but it's totally unnecessary and more costly of course.

how much will it raise the temp in the engine and whatnot if they werent coated?
