I had an older FAST 90mm before I got my Ballistic Speed 92mm and it was garbage.

The IAC port was so small I could never get the idle dialed in without it wanting to cruise control when driving around at low speed.

New one was a huge improvement.

Sure are glad there are other tuners out there then that don't require 300-500$ air blades.

There are plenty of tuners out there that will take your money and give you a hacked tune too.

The setup would be with an 85mm MAF with the adapter for a 98 Z28.

Thanks for any info!
Im confused youre asking which ebay throttle body is less likeley to have an issue and most have said they have had zero issue with the Nick williams set up's and you bash it. I mean the extra 200$ is well worth the money to know you can bolt it up and it works nothing needed IMO.

You've seen these first hand? How did you deem them to be **** tunes? Did you drive the car? Did you hook up HP tuners or EFI live to check things out? What made them **** tunes? I call major bullshit. Sounds like another internet hero who thinks he knows it all.

Simple. Because I don't like paying extra money for a name. I'm sure the NW throttlebody works fine. But I absolutely refuse to pay the markup on a device as simple as a throttlebody when carburetors, a much more intricate device requiring a lot more tooling, are around the same price or cheaper. Its a lot easier to **** this up:

Than it is this:

And being that there is a 10 page thread with nearly 80,000 views of people looking for alternatives to getting raped for an air blade, I'd say quite a lot of people feel the same way too:

Of the cheaper ones, this one seems to have good reviews, at least the ones I've found and read up on. Looking forward to seeing how you like it.

How many cables go to your TB? Think mine only has 1 cable. Cruise works like it always did!

Mine already did not work when I bought the car but from my understanding that is often the result of the switch under the clutch pedal not getting engaged since aftermarket clutches (my car has a Spec 3) changing the pedal height. I'll definitely have to look into getting it adjusted after I have my Tick installed though.

I can say I've never even tried to use cruise control on my car. I never use it in any vehicle I drive.

mine was a twin cable with traction control. i deleted traction control but it seems that none of the aftermarket throttle bodies have a spot for the second cable

There's a few spots to mount cables on my ebay 92mm TB, mine has ASR so only has 1 cable. Cruise works!

So Flintwrench69, what I'm reading is that you have a 92mm WARR TB that works on an LS3 intake? Did you do the tune? Have to tried any other TBs? Could you provide a little insight on how it compares?

I ask because I'm now in the market for a 92mm for an LS3 intake setup and I haven't heard bad things about the WARR TB. However, I've switched both of my cars from FAST 102 TBs to NW 102 TBs because the NW TB feels lighter on the foot (and I like that). However, both swaps from FAST 102 to NW 102 yielded idle issues. I'd say the issue was with the FAST TBs because they idled higher and after the NW install, the idle surges like it's sealing better or something...

Anyway, if you have experience with other 92mm or 102 TBs and say the WARR is working, I'm sold. Let me know!

Its a 4 bolt pattern like TBs that bolt onto FAST intakes. No I didn't tune it. No I haven't tried any other TBs, this is a new build & I didn't wanna pay top dolla on a TB. No I didn't need to do any modifications to make the TB work.

Yes it works, my car idles 800-1000 rpm.

When you say 800-1000, do you mean 800 when warm and 1000 when warming up? Is this your m6 00 camaro?

Thanks for the feedback. I really wish you had experience with another throttle body. As mentioned, I can tell the difference in feel between a fast 102 and a nw 102 because I've tried both on the same cars, back to back. Basically, your experience may be good with the warr, but you may not know what you're missing out on... I'm not opposed to trying the warr 92, but I need to see some positive feedback from people who know what a fast or nw 92 do...

anyone out there have that experience?

800-1000, it has a 242/256 cam in it so it doesn't have the smoothest idle. If I thought for 1 second that TB was junk I'd put something else on there. No issues, you're really trying to split hairs here bro! Buy one & try it!
