Final Plumbing
I finally got my LS swap started last night in my 1951 Ford. Sounds great I didn't run it long as I have some final plumbing items.
It is a 6.0L factory Block with Corvette intake and Camaro water pump. I have a few open holes.
On the drives side Valve cover I need to connect the port to something? Where does this go?
On the very front of the intake each side has a vaccum ports on it. The passenger side has a small piece of rubber tube with a breather at the end of it (The intake came with that on)? The drivers side right after the throttle body has a vaccum port too. I currently have it blocked off? Any idea where this goes?
The front steam port. I have a spacer I bought to push the water pump out to match the truck accessories. This spacer has a 1/8 NPT threaded hole. Can I put a barb on this and run from the steam port back into the water pump?
Super excited to get this wrapped up so I can run it for a longer period.
Thanks
Trever
Still looking for where to connect the vent on the drivers side valve cover?
and where does the vacuum ports on the front of the intake one on each side behind the throttle body.
The vacuum port on the passenger side goes to the valley cover vent, if you have one. If not, it connects to the vent coming off the back side of the valve covers. Again, if you have the vent in your valley cover, most people just block off the one coming from the driver side rear valve cover.
The attachment is the routing diagram provided by Saikou Michi to install their catch cans. Ignore the catch can and you will see the proper routing for different set-ups. It was the clearest diagram I could think of.
