Default What thermostat do I need?
Ordered a new water pump (part number 252-846) and need a thermostat for it. A lot say it's ls2 style and is a direct replacement for the original ls1 pump. Do I need the one piece or 2 piece thermostat/housing?

Car is an 02 which has the single piece stock. But what's confusing to me is the new pump supposedly is ls2 but yet is a direct swap whereas an ls2 pump isn't. It's really confusing.
