Default Lq4 intake question

I have an LQ4 intake that I've shaved down and am going to use in a boosted application (twin turbo). Looking inside the intake there looks like to be a plastic baffle with a small hole in the back. I was wondering if I can cut that out and make it a straight through intake? Almost like a tunnel ram. Thanks

No don't mess with hole at the back of the intake log. it feeds the back two cylinders and is pretty well balanced. The other cylinders are feed by exiting the roof of the log like umbrella to the front cylinders.

Here is a cutaway of top of log . Airflow exits the top of log hits the roof and cascades down to the runners.

I was wondering what it looked like in there. I'll leave it alone. Thanks for the feed back
