Default LS6 with headers

My current setup is a 99 with stock LS1 intake, air lid, 1-7/8 race style long tubes with ORY and magnamouth cat back. No tune yet as I'm trying to decide on my final mod. The only other mod I'm considering doing to the motor is LS6 intake. My question is, is it even worth it? Am I really going to get much at this point from adding the LS6 to this setup? Or should i just go get a tune the way it is?
I haven't been able to find a comparison with ls1 stock motor with headers vs Ls6 with headers.

Thanks in advance

Considering that you can sell your LS1 intake and buy a used LS6 one, and barely have to pay out at that point, then yes it's absolutely worth it IMO

I don't have a specific HP number, but this was my first upgrade and I felt the difference. The sound of the motor and exhaust are much deeper and I could definitely tell that there was a power gain.

IF this is really the case, then would there NOT be a power loss if someone put an LS1 intake on a complete, but STOCK, LS6 engine???

Just because you may not actually feel a difference, doesn't mean that you didn't gain a small amount. And most likely you're not going to feel 10 hp

I would do it. It's a basic mod that will set you up if you decide to mod more after.

Every used LS6 intake, that every joker on here is selling, they are asking $TUPID money for, sometimes almost/or even MORE THAN HALF of what a similar sized FAST is going for NEW.

Then, you do not even know if they nitrous/over-boost cracked it or not!

What exactly do the clean, not cracked, LS1s go for??

Im just going off what I've seen in the past. I've seen LS1 intakes go for $200 give or take a few, and LS6 intakes $300- $350. To me $100 is a bargain for 10 hp
