is a 99 4L60E from a Camaro SS the same external dimensions as a 2000 4L60E from a Silverado 2wd? Reason I'm asking is I have a 99 camaro SS tranny sitting in the garage I could use to mock up truck project. Don't want to buy the truck tranny until the project is almost done so I can take advantage of a warranty. As long as the mounting points and length are the same I will be golden. Want to weld transmission crossmember and measure drive shaft.
