Call Texas Speed n Performance, They are running a deal on ported TBs right now with no core for very cheap. I ordered mine monday and put it on yesterday. Good lookin piece.

yea, jantzer and TSP both have deals going, there is also shaner's t but he's not a sponser on the board. they're all great peices. the velocity stack is
trying to force feed air via the tornado effect the vr stack supposedly creates is like gluing feathers to some paper stretched over some 2x4's and trying to fly off your neighbors barn roof.

BTW, gas mileage has improved further to about 1 mpg (from 13 to 14.x mpg). I did do the throttle body by-pass mod recently, so that may have helped the mpg. FYI, I read another recent thread from a guy who had his V stack melt in the throttle body. That's what prompted me to do the by-pass. I'm glad I did the by-pass. It feels like the engine is accepting more timing now...peppier
Also, I just wanted to clear up a misconception that the V stack further restricts the intake tract. The stack does not fit flush to the throttle body blade area. It fits in about 2/3 into the "funnel". So, it doesn't "add" more material to the restrictive part of the throttle body.
