Default Does the VR Velocity stack from tbyrne.com work?

NT. I figured it would be cheaper then getting a port and polished TB.

yea, jantzer and TSP both have deals going, there is also shaner's t but he's not a sponser on the board. they're all great peices. the velocity stack is trying to force feed air via the tornado effect the vr stack supposedly creates is like gluing feathers to some paper stretched over some 2x4's and trying to fly off your neighbors barn roof.

I'm the guy. This is the thread:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/170887-vr-velocity-stack-track-results-inside.html

BTW, gas mileage has improved further to about 1 mpg (from 13 to 14.x mpg). I did do the throttle body by-pass mod recently, so that may have helped the mpg. FYI, I read another recent thread from a guy who had his V stack melt in the throttle body. That's what prompted me to do the by-pass. I'm glad I did the by-pass. It feels like the engine is accepting more timing now...peppier

Also, I just wanted to clear up a misconception that the V stack further restricts the intake tract. The stack does not fit flush to the throttle body blade area. It fits in about 2/3 into the "funnel". So, it doesn't "add" more material to the restrictive part of the throttle body.
