Default Passenger Side Exhaust Bracket

Already tried the search function, found that the part number was 1027958, and was part #13 on the exhaust diagram from other threads. However, the part itself is now discontinued, and being 98-02 LS1 fbody only, of which few are in junkyards in my area.

Does anyone know a suitable aftermarket replacement for that bracket? I was considering buying either the Walker 35358, which looks slightly smaller in terms of width than was factory, but has both holes, or the walker 35940, which looks to be closer in width to what would fit snugly in the mount, which is still pretty decent in terms of condition.

Getting really sick of this rattle, and have the exhaust currently held up with a cheap universal hanger, which is better than the axle slamming the exhaust on these awful Louisville roads, but it's still rattling hard when stopped/creeping at low speed. I've seen in some threads where people recommend just ripping off the metal heat shields in the rear, could anyone else perhaps chime in on how that worked?

Any competent exhaust shop should be able to replace it with a generic hanger. Shouldn't cost too much either.

Trans00, its not the y pipe, its the passenger rear exhaust bracket near the bumper that bolts to the frame. I have the mount, but still need the metal bracket that it holds.

I believe that most were/are just using one of the Walker numbers you posted above.

@majestic9C1, the one on the bottom right, thats gm 1027958. Looking for an aftermarket bracket I can just slap on there and fiddle with. Both of my mounts are in excellent shape however. I have a fair bit of 1/8" aluminum laying around, was considering bending myself a hanger, and drilling to fit the holes on my exhaust.

Louisville is really hard on my car, and my apartment complex garage ramp has ripped two catbacks off (ripped the muffler of the TSP rumbler off, and combined with the crap roads, snapped the hanger on a summit catback, had to go to a group thing for class, so said screw it and macguyvered a set straight pipes from the two of them).

Would go to a shop, but not sure how the shop would take to dealing with a car with !AIR, !EGR, ORY, and straight pipes back.

If i can find/fab a suitable bracket, I'm planning on ordering some cats for the ORY, small mufflers, and a set of chrome letterbox tips to come up with something like an SLP powerflo, but with stock-ish tips.

I forgot to reply earlier, but I found it about an hour ago in a box of parts. I just need to find the nut for it, or go to home depot and find a strong replacement. Won't even have to lift the car to bolt it on. Just discovered an oil leak from my filter though. Previous owner didn't take the best care of her, so still trying to remedy the situation. If properly mounting it does not solve my rattling problem, off come the heat shields!

EDIT: You're a Cincinnati man! That's awesome. I graduated from Ryle in NKY.
