Sounds like miss after plug change?!

Default Sounds like miss after plug change?!

Hey guys...need some help here...I changed my plugs yesterday and put in some TR55s at .06 gap and now it seems to have a miss....will this throw a code?? Which one? I heard that it could just be the plugs since it never did it before the plug change....try another set?? Thanks

Check to make sure all the plug wires are on tight.

I checked that twice...LOL....what are the chances of a faulty plug???

I guess that could happen. Did you change the wires or reuse the stock ones? Maybe one of them is bad.

Just finished changing the wires with new 8.8 Accels....no change....I'm thinking of getting a few more plugs and replacing one at a time.....try and weed out the bad one? Unless it's a coil pack....

Start the car and while it is idling pull off each plugwire one at a time at the coilpack. You should hear a popping sound out of the plugwire if the cylinder is firing. If you don't hear any popping then you can narrow down which one is bad at least. If you are misfiring you should get a flashing SES light while driving as well that stops when the car is idling.
