I just put on my QTP's (1 7/8) with their Y...Since I was putting on a hooker cat-back system maybe it was a little easier...The Y fits pretty good...I say 9 out of 10...The clearance on the flowmaster collector to the drive shaft isnt that much...Besides that everything else fits up nice...The header primary on the driver side is barely rubbing on the steering linkage, and on the passenger side its barely rubbing on the k-member...I guess that gives me an excuse to go and buy a BMR unit ...

QTP's with their Y and the Hooker cat-back sounds badass...

Open headers mean that all you have for exhaust is the headers themselves. Do not run open headers with stock manifolds. When you get long tubes it's ok.

It's insanely loud and you will get pulled over very quickly if a cop is around. It sounds ****** badass though!!

I didn't mean to bash the y pipe, it ended up fitting well after being massaged a bit by the installers. They ( J&M Motorsports ) told me that they were actually calling you guys (QTP) up to work out some pricing, I guess they liked what they saw enough to stop using what they had been going with and switch to your stuff. I haven't talked to Mike since last week, so I don't know what came of it, but I know that they did like the product fit and quality, and were more than happy with the power increase.

I don't think that'll be a problem around here (Hawaii), so long as I'm not speeding. Ok, so 'open headers' means just running, in my case, say Long Tube Headers, and that's it. No Y-pipe, no catback/muffler, just the headers, right?
