catalytic converter question
catalytic converter question I was given a pair of high flow 3" cats off a long tube header set. The guy who gave them to me ensures they're fine however the core is not tight, the core moves forward and backward when the cat is shaken. It's a metallic core, and I;ve never used these before (just ceramic) so I am not sure if this is normal or not. The last thing I want to do is install these and have the brake up a few hundred miles down the road.

I bought two magnaflow metallic spun high flow cats and they do not move at all. It might still work but if it's loose it's definitely going to make noise. I would just buy another.
