I'm looking for an airlid or something else(volant) that doesn't f#@$#ing rub against the top of the hood. Any complaints about the donaldson blackwing rubbing the hood? Volant?

Of course I don't have a WS6, but my blackwing didn't have any rubbing issues.

DOnno bout the WS6 but the Volant on my SS has a seal (weatherstripping like) oon the top edge of the airbox that actually gets compressed a bit by the hood when you close it so that it creates a nice seal. I would think that the WS6 one would be the same.

The volant is MADE to press against your hood to seal the cool air from the engine bay so that will prob not be what you are looking for.

The Volant is made to seal up to a regular T/A hood. It has gaps under a Ram Air hood. The only thing I liked about the Volant when I had it was the sound.
