Default Considering some 2000 LS1 upgrades...

Which would net the most gains? Upgrade the LS1 intake and throttle body first or swap a set of 243 heads first? Obviously swapping the intake and TB first is easiest.

What year car, and is it an automatic or manual transmission? What will be the primary use of the vehicle?

It's a 2000 LS1 TA M6, street driven car, for that reason, hogged out ported heads aren't really in the cards, looking for budget mods.

I would recommend starting with headers, ypipe, airlid, and tune. These mods will offer some nice gains and are really a big part of preparing for future modifications like an aftermarket camshaft, ported cylinder heads, etc.

A tune can really help. FWIW my car's factory tune sucked a lot. After I put long tubes on I got it tuned and it ran great, but I had a high rpm knock for years that I should have had fixed earlier, even without the headers I'm sure it would have run better.

Car already has a lid, ZO6 MAF and 3 inch Gibson exhaust. Do Pacesetter mid tubes bolt up to the stock Y pipe?
