Default MAF codes p0101 and p0102

Cammed LS1/T65 swapped Rx7

So I have been chasing down this issue of a stutter at highway speeds. The other day I cleaned my MAF with MAF cleaner and let it sit till completely dry, I than reinstalled and attempted to start the car, in which it stuttered and died throws code P0102. Took a few times and me unplugging and replugging the MAF till it started and idled just fine. In my head this issue of the MAF pigtail (I have already ruled out the MAF as the problem because I've swapped with some friends) is the problem and is not seating. So I ordered a new pigtail soldered it in paying careful attention to wire location. Now when I turn the key the thing sputters and dies or idles till it kills itself throwing codes p0102 and p0101. When it eventually recovers for long enough to idle I cannot step on the gas without it dying and if I clear the codes it dies. I would say check my wiring again, however it continues even if the MAF is unplugged. Ideas? I believe its not vacuum related, O2's or fuel all of which were fine.

Thanks

How long have you had the car? Has it always done this or just started doing it?

I would try cleaning the MAF again. Maybe see if you can borrow another MAF and see if yours is just junk.

unplugging the maf should send it into open loop, so those codes are correct for unplugged. it'll run off the ve table + coolant temp modifier.

but plugged in, you shouldnt have those codes. did you trace the pins back to the pcm?

how are you tuning it?
