Alternator wiring help
Hey guys I need a quick hand getting my Alternator properly wired up.
I'm running a CTS front accessory kit and I received Alternator: 25766345.
I have my motor in a 240sx with a bare essential wiring harness running MegaSquirt MS3X.
I'm looking to simply wire my alternator so it provides my battery a default 13.8-14 volts.
I ran my wiring from the post on the back of the alternator to the positive on my starter.
When running my car I'm only showing 12 volts however and it'll drain because it's only running off of the battery.
Am I supposed to run the 2 pin plug that is able to plug into the side of the alternator?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Joe,
Thank you for the reply. My biggest question is how do I wire that 2 pin plug?
It says that Pin A is "battery Positive" so is that the cable that should essentially charge the battery or is that like an ignition switch to tell the alternator that the car is on? Since B is also just the charge indicator can I leave that unplugged since I am running a voltage gauge anyways and don't need a light?
