Stuck like Chuck!!!

Just got my car finished, torquer v2 ported 243s etc etc bought a corsa back cat love the way it sounds just too damm loud, and I live in CA so I figured I'd drive to Reno and buy some high flow cats (2 hour drive) then the tunner tells me it's a 20 wheel horse loss if i put them on?!?!?! Should I keep the echaust and throw those cats on or sell it for 500 bought it for 450 and move on?!?!?
help!!!

Would the loss of 20 horsepower effect your enjoyment of the car? If you want it to be quieter, then make it quieter. Everything has a cost.

Why not put a muffler on it and then install a exhaust cutout?

Put a dynomax or similar bullet muffler in the i pipe if you dont want to put cats on it. But I highly doubt that a set of high flow cats is going to kill 20rwhp...maybe 5-10 tops
