Default Cheap LS6 Valve covers?

Would buying the 99$ valve covers on ebay for ls6 heads be a bad idea? They are just plain valve covers, no fancy graphics. Or should I buy GM covers for more than twice the price? I dont want to end up having leaks from simple valve covers...

What kind of covers are you wanting? I've heard the ebay ones do leak.

Just looking for something nicer than stock valve covers? If not go to any junkyard and pick up a set for $20-40 and paint them and be done.

FYI ls6 heads do not require different covers. The only ones which are different are the 97-98 perimeter bolt covers.

That is what i was looking at. Not for looks, just need a set for functionality.

Why would you want the LS6 covers on perimeter heads, they will not bolt on.
