Default Sulfur Smell

There is a sulfuric smell under hard acceleration sometimes in my T/A. Is that the catalytic converters?

Most likely. Happens in nearly all cars under hard acceleration

Ah: I can tell you have a lot of researching to do here. I find it a lot easier to use Google and search "LS1, cat delete" and then select "all results from Ls1 tech" to be much easier than this site's search.

And yes: I'm sure aside from the California boys, most of the fourth Gens are running without cats.

And your tuner will also take care of the codes.

Right on. Got a list of stuff to send Frost. LOL

No matter the amount of bolt ons, 1 or 10, it should just cost $150 for the mail order tune and PCM to him, right?

I'm not sure. I have the luxury of a well respected tuner within an hours drive from me: so I opted for him to do full dyno tunes.

I have a mild cam too; after swapping the heads and cam at home I drive it over to his shop for a proper tune (kept the factory fuel injectors on until we got to his place)

Yeah. Norris Motorsports is about an hour away, but Dyno Tune will cost more than $450! That $300 difference is enough for tools and parts!

Ill probably hold off the Dyno tune until its Intake and Cam time.
