throttle body coolant lines

throttle body coolant lines in the midst of doing my ls6 manifold swap, I am new to any kind of work on the engine, so please forgive the multitude of questions, probably going to ask more as I progress. For example couldn't figure out how to get the fuel line off the fuel rail, had the disconnect tool and everything, gave up, went in the house, watched a couple of YouTube videos, got the thing off. anyway, to the current question, when I remove the TB coolant hoses, is there going to be a lot of coolant coming out of there? Should I pinch them off to prevent spillage? Your continued help is very much appreciated. Thank you
I hack off the whole coolant-nipple tab and join the
hoses with a bit of stainless tubing and hose clamps.
If you wanted to spend 5 bucks you could just put a
clean length of hose in place of the 2 pieces. Just
keep it up off the pulley and it's fine.
Unless you live in places where condensing fog is a
likelihood, then you would really like to not ice up
your TB. Once spent an hour by the side of the road
up on the Ontario 401, waiting for the ice to melt out
of my Mustang's carb (open element air cleaner,
chrome of course, no heat stove).
