How dare you say something like that. Lol

I seen a video where someone had said the Ls community was not "Hot rodders" and they were just a "bolt on" crowd. I see his point more and more all the time.

What are you talking about? Because I suggested getting a aftermarket k member I'm not a hot rodder? 🙄. I forgot losing 30lbs off the front of your car was only for the bolt on crowd

If recall, back in the day, part of "hot rodding" was bolting on the right parts to make your car faster/better than the other guy....

Sarcasm was lost in the text. Of course it only makes sense to spend the same money to get a after maket k and header all while loosing some extra weight.

And the hot rodding part is making things work that arent suppose to, meaning not a direct bolt on and go.sure its nice to just buy a part and slap it on and go. But that comes at a price. A lot of money can be saved by cutting and hacking your own stuff together to accomplish the same thing. The only reason I have a UMI kmember to go on now is because its a sbc/bbc kmember. I bought 2 from them as overstock or open box (I dont remember for sure) for $225 each shipped and one is the road eace version. It will prob take about an hr to fab up mounts to make them work so money well spent and saved. I understand some people not wanting to cut up their care for one reason or another but lets face it these cars arent going to hold their value the way first gen do and never will. So I say cut them up.

On the ignition wires... Firecore 50 makes some great wires with the protective boots on them. Just want to put that out there...
