Default heat wrap lt's before install?

like the title says im wondering if i should heat wrap my headers before i install them or after. i will most likely be getting the tsp 1 7/8 no egr.

also can LT be installed when dropping the engine in from the top, or will they have to be installed after the engine is put in?

Unless you want to absolutely hate your life, you should wrap them before you install them.

But to each their own...

Didnt know if it would make it harder to install. Can the engine be dropped in with the headers on?

If you install the motor with the long tubes already bolted to it, you will probably fight it pretty good. But if you had the headers in the engine bay and laid towards the shock towers, that would work. Or before the motor is dropped all the way down in the cradle, slip them up in there.

Don't wrap your headers. They won't last as long.

You have to wrap them before you put them in. I don't see how you could wrap them after they are in the car.

Wasnt sure if the extra thickness from the wrap would cause for a more difficult install. And is there any brand of wrapp that wont hold water? Or what ever cause the issues?
