Mine too. The rubber spacer fits in the hole also. Here is a pic from both sides, looking in from the front of the car where the rad sits in the rad support.

But now I have a better look at the lower rad mounts look like, ill see if mine are like that also (which I doubt), because I remember adding the rubber doughnut after I put the new radiator in remembering I lef the rubber doughnut on the old radiator lol

Ok, so I messed with it yesterday and its still not fitting correctly. I double checked everything. I even modified the rubber mounts and the lower tray the radiator mounts into and it still doesn't fit correctly. I literally don't have enough room to put a piece of paper in between the far and the water pump pulley. I even modified the ram air box base (huge mistake) to allow room for the radiator cap and it obviously looks like I have to modified both radiator hoses and the top one is the one I'm worried about. I'm going to call up Be Cool tomorrow and see if I'm looking at things wrong, which is most likely the case here. Just a couple questions - Did you guys have to shorten your radiator hoses? Also, my fans are dangerously close to the water pump so did you guys encounter this also? I took pics below and no matter what I do, its still looks like its not sitting correctly. Again, I'm sure I'm looking at things wrong and I'm probably making a big deal about nothing but......something is making me question everything, maybe its because I've never installed an aftermarket radiator.

I'm running a Jeg's silicon hose kit. I replaced all the stock hoses with silicon hose. It may have given me more room?

I did the same. Maybe that did help

I went back and looked. And they take up less space. And won't rot out. It's a good investment.

Wow my $88 ebay aluminum unit fits alot better.

It looks like your radiator fans aren't slid correct into the radiator. You may need to pry on the mounting tabs on the radiator to the fan. The fan is just suppose to slide into the slots and your fan is bowed out in the middle.

The fan brackets don't fit right. Are you sure they didn't send you a Corvette radiator?

Did to verify that the radiator wasn't bent in shipping? My first one was and the seller sent a free replacement

The lower lid is suppose to hold the top part of the
Radiator

Mine is a dual core though, yours looks like a three row. Many people mentioned having to trim around different areas to fit the 3 row be cool

Ebay dual core. Compared to others your radiator looks like it's not wide enough and the brackets don't fit right

BeCool is a 2-row... just 2.5" core radiator. It's a lot thicker than the eBay one you showed.

Get the radiator in there right with the condenser on there before trying to put the fans on. The fans are easy - go through the bottom with them. But get the radiator in correctly where the base of the airlid fits tightly. You shouldn't have to fight the fender bolts that go into the framerail. It should line right up if the radiator is seated correctly.

I could take some pics later but one thing I did to make the fans fit better was I used a cutoff wheel (or you could use a file of some sort) and I made the the tabs on the radiator deeper that the fans sit in so the fans would slide down further on the radiator. I don't know if that would help but I just remembered I did that.

Looks like that's what he needs to do. Not sure if that would help with his clearance issue.

I like the size of your two row aluminum radiator Chrysler Kid. However, while browsing ebay for a similar unit all of them stated the 2 row was used on the 3.8 6 cyl engine. How is yours behaving?

I have a Be Cool aluminum one in my LS7 swap and the cooling is great, however fitment took a lot of massaging to get it to fit right.

Yeah it states the v6 because the radiator does not have a nipple for the coolant cross pipe under the nipple for the coolant over flow. It says I paid $120 in my ebay history, it might have been $88 + shipping. The welds don't look the greatest, but seeing pictures of the be cool welds they look about the same kind of glob welds

It still has the opening for the coolant level sensor which has been busted on my car for years, so I tapped the sensor for a 3/8 barb and sealed it with jb weld.
