Default Y pipe to cat-back fitment

So I have an SLP loudmouth 2 cat-back already on my car. I plan to get speed engineering headers with matching y pipe, both of which are 3" outlet, as well as a cut out after the y-pipe. So the cat-back is a 2.5" system, and my problem is, I don't know how long of a reducer if need. Does anybody have any input or experience with matching these systems?

Even the stock cutback is 2.75". I think your catback has a 3" intermediate pipe that splits into dual 2.5" and therefore no reducer would be needed.

Also a cutout on a LM2... you're not bypassing much of a muffler.

Stock Y mated without issue to "factory" SLP I/CME,
so did the various things I hung on after (SLP Y,
Jet-Hot long tubes Y, etc.). The Y-I joint is one that
everybody knows they have to play nice with, or
lose a lot of sales. So fuggedaboudit (but, find a nice
tree, a baby sledgehammer and a come-along for
the first pull-apart...).
