Default Fast 92 and ls6 valley cover fitment

Hey everyone. I'm just finished installing a ls6 valley cover and a fast 92 intake and after torqueing it down I noticed the aluminum block that the pcv port sticks out of is touching the bottom of the fast intake. I tried sticking my feeler gauge between them and they are definitely touching. Is this normal? Or should I take it apart and grind that block some? The only thing that might make a difference is I have .040 head gaskets. Heads only had a clean up mill. Car is a 98 camaro sbe, prc stage 2.5 243 heads.

Just to let anyone who searches this later know I ended up taking my intake off and grinding down that block quite a bit before it was clear. As of now the intake is torqued down and I have .012 clearance. I'm willing to bet most of the fast 92/ls6 valley cover setups on this forum are touching judging by the amount I removed.

I didn't even think to look at that when I bolted my intake down.

Hopefully it's not a big deal. I searched and couldn't find anyone mention it.

My fast 90 and ls6 valley played well together. I'm not sure if the fast 90 is externally the same or different from the fast 92 however.
