Default 2000 Z/28 TB/Intake/Long Tubes?

Long time reader, second time poster.....

Looking for a performance upgrade, but on a budget. No more than 350$. Figured I need a personalized recommendation on this one. Would do the install myself to save the $$.

I am between a LS6 Intake or an aftermarket Throttle Body (Recommendations welcomed) or Long Tube headers (best fit for price?).
Im not sure what makes the most sense to do first.

Additionally I won't be able to afford a cam or heads for quite some time (even though I know I will get the most HP gains out of those)

Current bolt ons are as follows:
MagnaFlow Cat-Back
High Flow Cats
SLP Airbox (with K&N)
180 Degree Thermostat
Tuned ECM
No EGR (Pulled it out)

Any help would be appreciated,

Martin

x2 on headers first. Plus it will sound better (subjective) in the mean time while you're saving up for other mods.

This.

Speed Engineering stainless steel headers are the best bang for buck!
I have them on mine, they sound great and look good too.

Don't overlook a mail order tune after those mods. Even stock a Frost tune really woke my car up.

when you're on a budget, the classifieds here and Craigslist are your best friend. Used parts can be very budget friendly, like the stainless Ebay headers and Y I bought used for $150.
