Default Question LQ9 Build

So i'm putting together an LQ9 from a seasoned block that i'm having machined and bored .030 over waiting for it to get back from the machine shop. I have new 243 heads on the way with BTR dual spring kit + ti retainers, LS7 lifters, HD stainless valves, HD stainless pushrods and LS3 trays.

Engine is going into a 2006 Silverado 1500 and i'm swapping it with a 4.8 and i'm also swapping my tranny with a 4L80E.

My question is once the motor is put together and the engine + trans is installed what's the easiest route to go harness wise to get everything running? Will I have to get a harness from a Gen III LQ9, a custom harness or could I tune the existing harness that I have?

One other question, considering that my truck is going to be going over bumps and that I don't have cruise control my truck is the basic WT model with manual everything. Should I stay DBC or should I go DBW? If I have to get the harness etc. I could get the pedal and everything else needed as a package from a junkyard or off of eBay.

Then your current wiring harness / throttle body / PCM will work. You'll have to move a couple of wires to get the 80e to work but it typically takes ~15 minutes.
