Default FTP 104mm

I still have the stock air lid on my car and was looking at the 104mm lid from FTP could I make that work with my stock stuff for now, within a week or so ill have my intake and 92mm TB so ill be able to use it eventually anyone else running the 104 lid? I was going to get an SLP lid but I wanted on with a larger opening going to the TB I have not seen anywhere posted on how large the opening is on those either

Like i told you earlier the slp will work just fine. Adapting the 104 down to a 92 would be more problem than it is worth. The 98 is the next option but the slp will work just fine and the same size coupler that fits over the slp lid wilk fit over the 92mm tb.

I run FTP 98mm lid w/ GM Truck MAF which is bigger than the stock MAF. You'll love it and so will your tuner.

Edit: I drove to my tuner on the stock lid/maf setup, got there early and took some tools, and swapped the old out with the new before my tuner got it. The car will drive funny without stock MAF so that's why I did this.

My bad. I saw lid sizes and my mind started wondering to MAF sizes. Didn't know you were going SD.

I ran that set up and gained a solid tenth and mph over stock stuff and a smaller lid. You will need an adapter to plug in the truck MAF which is basically the LS6 one.

^^^ Thats what I plan on doing. For now my car is just a LQ4 with 799 heads, LS6 Intake an stock throttle body. I'm putting my 98mm clear lid on and going to have a SD Tune. So I need to find a coupler from the lid to stock tb. I'm glad I seen your pic of the straight coupler.
