changing radiator I am having overheating issues with my '02 Z28 since I put my supercharger on. I have changed head gaskets to LS9 head gaskets, installed a new water pump and thermostat. The only thing left to do is change the radiator. I bought a radiator and it is an LT1 radiator. I know I have to bock off the one stem on the passenger side but my question is can I just go to the auto parts store and get bolts that fit in the two holes on the passenger side where the two lines go (no idea what lines would connect) and just block them off?
You can probably find coolant / vacuum caps of proper
size to go over the extra nipples, and use hose clamps.
I chose to dam up the nipples near their base, scuff
the interior and pot it all up with JB-Weld. So far (some
years now), so good.
