Broken spark plug First off this probably is a stupid question.
The back driver side spark plug broke off at the end of the insulator for me. It was dark at night, couldn't see, and panicked right when it happened.
Im not sure if the rest of it is still in there or it fell down and is hiding. My stupid question is, could the plug still be lodged if I'm able to screw another plug in? Doesn't feel like anything is there. Took wires and was able to feed it back the length of the spark plug to compare one I know is out and the one that is in question.
So scary. This has happened twice to me with auto lites. Going to TR-55's.

NOW, My OBSERVATION is to "borrow" your wife's/girl-fiend's compact mirror AND observe to spark plug hole location ?
Another is the use of a Dentist's Mirror to observe ?

I agree with you guys! Thanks for the suggestions. This morning I took a dowel rod and gently pushed back to see if I felt anything. It seems like it's going back the same distance as any of the others that I know the spark plugs are out.
Talk about a stressful night. If that plug did come out I have no idea where it is. Looked everywhere. Total mystery.
